About Bön
Bon is the indigenous, pre-Buddhist culture and religion of Tibet. The Bön culture is an ancient one, tracing its roots back over 18,000 years. The Dalai Lama has recently acknowledged Bön as one of the main religious traditions of Tibet.

About Zhine Practice
Zhine (Tibetan for "calm abiding" or"calm presence") is a practice used by Bon practitioners to strengthen the attention and develop the powers of concentration necessary to calm the mind and experience inner peace. Zhine begins with mental fixation on an object and, as concentration becomes stronger, progresses to fixation without an object. It is not only a preliminary practice, but is helpful at any point in the practitioner's life. Wear comfortable clothing, lunch will be provided.
