| FURTHER EDUCATION FUND |
Further Education Fund The children at the Bon Children’s Home are currently educated through the 10th grade. Many of the graduates from this school want to continue their education, to pursue a trade or a profession, so that they may be able to support themselves and contribute meaningfully to their community. As of fall 2007 there are 22 children attending further education studies, and 12 more will be ready for further education in the summer of 2008.

Of course, their further education involves increased costs. |

For 11th and 12th grade, the extra annual costs are approximately $720 per student

For one year of college the cost is approximately $1,325 per student
-
For one year of professional training, costs vary with the course of study. Nursing school, for example, costs approximately $2,116 per student
