| ABOUT THE BÖN SHEN FOUNDATION |
THE BÖN SHEN FOUNDATION (formerly “Aid to Bön Children”) is a non-profit corporation, formed in 1996. Our mission is to help preserve the Bön culture by supporting its children and the community they live in. We do this primarily by supporting the Bön Children’s Home, located in the village of Dolanji in Himachal Pradesh, India. Our activities include sponsoring individual children at the Bön Children’s Home; providing funds for post-high school education; and providing funds for dormitories, utilities, and other needed building and infrastructure projects in Dolanji.

We also support Bön children and communities other than the BCH. For example, we are supporting the construction of a cultral hall in the village of Dolanji, India. We have plans to build a clinic in La Tri, Tibet. |
| A short list of Bön Shen Foundations's recent activities and contributions in 2006-2007 includes |
- Raised approximately $50,000 for construction of the new Small Children's Dormitory at the Bön Children's Home. Construction on this project is nearly completed.
- Raised approximately $75,000 for construction of the new Cultural Hall in the town of Dolanji. Construction has been started on this project.
- Raised funds for a supplemental power project to provide power to the Bon Children’s Home.
- Continued with sponsorship for children at the Bön Children's Home. Many children are sponsored through the efforts of supporters' contributions.
- Raised money for new school uniforms for the children at the Bon Children’s Home.
- Continue to assist with funding for further education program.
